What are the fear mongers saying now?

Well, it has been some time since we have taken a peek at what the religious 'fraidy-cats of America have been saying is happening or is going to happen. Why don't we take a look?

Sooo...do you really think that your statement that human beings have not yet seen the wrath of God in full as of yet holds any merit whatsoever that may justifiably be used in trying to convert people? What kind of God tries to harvest followers with fear? That is straight up bullshit and any straight thinking person knows it. There is no logic whatsoever to your supposed loving faith that is based on a believe this way or die policy. Oh. That's right. It isn't reason or logic or whatever. It is faith. Nope. Sorry, pal. You got that wrong as well.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hX-W-5L_MNg

You mean to tell me that the Christian group mentioned here has NEVER participated or condoned or encouraged or seeded any kind of prejudice or unfairness? Religion is dangerous.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DCF3y4Pf08

Hah! These guys simply cannot do the math. LISTEN to the numbers they are trying to present as a solution/idea. Do they realize that millions of Americans times millions of dollars is FAR MORE than what they apparently think it is? Here the great danger for America is people not knowing what the hell they are talking about.

Sooo...if you are a Christian and if someone who used to be famous told you that Christians in America are in danger would you believe it? If you would believe such a claim is that because the person telling you is famous or because they believe in Jesus or both?

Preachers using the bad news of the world to scare people into transforming the congregation into greater numbers is nothing new. That's right. Use the mean and terrible things that people do to try to prove your God. This guy says that years ago people were not that educated but that they were more moral. What fucking ever. So, I guess for this fellow righteousness equals an individual who is uneducated or who at least has a very limited access to information in general. Scary.

Oh WOW. Somebody has no teeth. Lovely. Anyways, this guy wants to tell you something that sounds so very detrimental to your survival. Try watching this. You will find it is detrimental to your survival.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MceR9Wl8f7Q

Oh dead, dear Jesus. Beck. This guy is a real hoot who regularly hoots out of his ass.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjJ50TWB73I

Yes, I know this clip is fairly long but it is worth it to listen to what this man has to say. If you wish to discuss with any Christian person why their belief in the so-called dangers of Evolution are ridiculous you should know what and how they are thinking, what their material is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z1kRoaYSkU

Purposeful twisting of the fact and information to make it look like the Christians of America are under attack is pathetic. Is God so very powerful that He has to rely on lies and twisted facts in order to scare people into believing in Him?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIlkk0KcmgI

The DANGERS of Evolution? Interesting. If you are protected by God why in the hell would you worry about Evolution in the first place? Listen to what this guy says, I mean really listen to the individual claims and refutations he makes. It is pure lunacy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rirMNSeSqaU

Holy shit. This guy is trying to say it is dangerous to read and study different books. He also comes out with this little statistic about so many Christians in the world being killed every so many minutes. Where or how he came up with this would be interesting to find out. But never mind all of that, right? According to this guy the only book you need is the Bible.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUpWWTfwkBc

That's right. God is angry because you are not teaching people that He is angry. If you are not out there trying to convert people to your faith by preaching God's wrath then you cannot control them with their fear. If you cannot control them with their fear then your religious delusion and its hold on other will dissipate.

Claims from Ridiculous Christians

Read Ester Lighthorse's NEW e-book Turkey Broth for the Spirit: Just a Few Questions: the Pentateuch:
http://www.amazon.com/Turkey-Broth-Spirit-Questions-Pentateuch-ebook/dp/B00GVLQ0CY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1385653561&sr=8-1&keywords=ester+lighthorse

Joseph Farah

Have you ever come across a magazine called the Whistleblower? If you have not I encourage you to go and pick one up, take a peek inside, and read some of the craziest bullshit some Christians spew as truth. Absolute ridiculousness is what it is.

In the May 2011 issue of Whistleblower, Volume 20, No. 5, Joseph Farah writes an absurd article in a letter from the publisher on pages 3 and 4. I would like to comment on that particular article here. Yes, I know it is a fairly old article but I would still like to comment on it. I had actually never even heard of this magazine until I was at a friends home and she showed me a couple of articles from a different issue. I was intrigued and requested to borrow a few copies. I took the magazines home and began to go through them, coming across this piece fairly early on.

What I will do here is type the comment made by Farah, and then make a comment of my own in response. I will type his comments word for word just in case you were wondering.

1. "Some people call me a radical." -Joseph Farah- May 2011 Whistleblower

No. Radicals favor drastic political, social and economic reforms...something you clearly do not favor. You do not wish for gays to have the right to marry and you have problems with the idea of Pro-Choice (since it is otra de la ley of Him Who you worship) along with all sorts of other issues that you plant, grow, and harvest from your little field of religious-political fanaticism. Reforms should be good things. You wish to deny people basic rights and just in case you did not know, that would definitely NOT qualify as drastic reform. It might qualify as drastic set-back.

You have this air of wishing to revert to the 'old'. The 'old', some of it, is still very good. What you do not seem to understand is there are elements of the old that are not so good. Perhaps for the time in which it was birthed much of the old was good, but you also seem to forget that even those who created the old recognized that not all of it was good and great. It was all new, remember? Experimental. The Founding Fathers knew they wouldn't get it all right and even suspected they would get some of it wrong.

2. "As I've said many times, "conservatism" cannot save America. It's too far gone from what it was intended to be to save it through holding on to what we have left. And that, by definition, it what "conservatism" is all about."

No. Your assessment of America being in a state of poor health is inaccurate. Yes, we DO have money problems and a deficit ten times the size of Texas. But, this is not what you are referring to, is it? Neither are you referring to pointless wars, the great need for good and affordable healthcare, bickering in Congress, helping communities to recover more quickly from natural disasters such as Katrina and Sandy, or dealing with the issues eating away at social security, are you?

What you are referring to is essentially a religious issue for you, isn't it? For some twisted reason you think the issues that this nation in particular experiences are the direct result of people falling away from God and Jesus, right?

3. "If "conservatism" means cutting the budget but still overspending, borrowing from future generations and ignoring constitutional limits on the federal government's power, then I am not a conservative. Yet that is what many of the most prominent conservatives are doing in Washington right now."

Oh, look! Here you try to make it look like it isn't a religious issue. This is a half-ass effort though, right? I mean, what is it that you say toward the very end of this article? Here is what you said:

"If there is an opportunity for the bad guys to manipulate and exploit the crisis they have created, there is also an opportunity for lovers of liberty and lovers of God to do the same."

See? You don't give a shit about the budget and the money and social security. What matters to you is WHO is qualified (according to your rules) to participate in various liberties and whether or not people who believe in God (presumably the same God you believe in) are the ones making the rules.

Don't kid yourself into thinking that this country's problems have to do with people not wishing to follow your Invisible Pal. Yes, there are leaders in this country who abuse the system, abuse money, and abuse liberties...but this is NOT the case with all or even a majority of our leaders and has NOTHING to do with God. These problems are caused by people and not by some all-powerful divine being trying to teach the citizens of this nation any kind of lesson.

4. "George Washington was not a "conservative." Neither were the other founders of this once great country. They actually came up with something quite new in the history of the world- the idea of self governance. They did something unique in the history of the world. They not only threw off the yoke of foreign domination, but they invented a political system that took the shackles off the people and placed those shackles where they belong on central government."

Sure, shackles were placed on our central government by the Founding Fathers. BUT, those shackles were intended for issues in regards to government function and legislation and NOT intended to shackle the government and prevent the government from changing things that somebody's God thinks are wrong...like same-sex marriage or removing religion from government (or keeping it out).

Again, you are by no means a revolutionary or anything even remotely similar. What you ARE is a pouting Christian, put-out by government shaking the tethers of religion. So, what you do is try to regain, or help to regain control by disguising your divine predilections as budget concerns, constitutional concerns (a HUGE lie), and concerns over abuses of personal liberties. Do these problems exist? Oh, yes...they do. But these issues are not your true focus, are they?

5. "Because we don't need to create something new. We only need to find our way to rediscovering what we had, something that was perverted over time and today is under full-scale assault."

You need to be specific here, Farah. Rediscover what we had? Which part do you want to rediscover? No marriage rights for gays and lesbians? No voting for women or blacks? Poll tax? Manifest Destiny and loads of dead and displaced Native Americans? God in schools? Guns for everyone? Prohibition? Segregation?

6. "In this case, the revolutionaries are the ones running the show. They are the lawless ones. They are the ones who are perverting justice and morality and order. We are merely the resistance fighters."

No. There are not revolutionaries running the show. Yes, there are some real mother fuckers in government who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and who do abuse much. However, not every leader is like this no matter how much you want to over-exaggerate. Do we have some serious issues? YES. Name a country that does not...

...BUT, what makes America great has nothing to do with God and everything to do with our people and our desire to excel, to exceed expectations, to protect liberties for all, and to persist in a push to be fair. Sometimes we miss our mark...but goddamn if we don't keep getting right back up time and again. Even THAT takes a while at times, but THAT is who we are.

Also, so long as you approach the issues within justice, morality, and order from ANY kind of religious angle it is you who is doing the perverting. Your idea of resistance fighting is nothing more than resistance to fairness and change.

7. "A friend of mine said it this way: "We're not in the middle of a revolution. We're fighting the American Devolution.""

I think it is the devolution from the idea that America was founded by God, for God and for people who believe in God and worship God that bugs you and Christians like you the most. Not all Christians are like you...thank God.

8. "The very will of the American people is under attack in a thousand ways. It's under attack through the popular culture with its desensitizing images and messages. It's under attack from the establishment press, whose members think they are so much wiser than the simple rubes who work hard, provide for their families and serve their country faithfully and heroically in times of national emergency. It's under attack from high priests in black robes who issue decrees that make a disgrace of the concept of the rule of law and mock the will of the people. It's under attack from elitists who run major foundations. It's under attack from globalists who seek to destroy America's national sovereignty. And it's under attack from a central government that has broken the shackles deliberately placed on it just over 200 years ago by our Constitution. The onslaught is coming fast and furious from these enemies of liberty."

You make it sound like the American people are stupid. What is wrong with you? Do you really think our citizens are desensitized to the things in this world that are right? Do you only watch and think about and read about the bad things that happen in this nation? There ARE good things, you know. Just because people play GTA, watch risque movies, go to church less or not at all and listen to Lady Gaga that does not mean that they don't care about each other and don't love this country.

Oh, and I hope your reference to people serving the country faithfully DOES NOT only apply to those who believe in God, right? You DO know that Atheists who love this country, and people of other faiths who love this country serve faithfully as well...right alongside their Christian brothers and sisters, right?

9. "They are attempting to overwhelm the will of the people and the rule of law by setting political and cultural bushfires from coast to coast. The process is in overdrive. They believe they have an opportunity to reach their goals for the conquest of the American spirit in the short term, and they don't want to miss this opportunity."

Conquest of the American spirit? Conquest of the American spirit? We have made it through the Revolution, Civil War, sickness outbreaks, great natural disasters, world wars, conflicts, great political scandals, great tragedies in some of our individual communities, presidential assassinations, and FAR MORE. So, if you think the American spirit can be so quickly diminished, so obtusely swept aside with such great disdain...your faith is misleading you, and you sir, are fucked in the head.

Would Christianity Lie To You?

What Might Some of These Lies Be?
Part I
There is so much more to religion and how it formed and who and what contributed to that formation. I would like to cover some of the inadequacies and misleadings of what is presented in religion as we know it, but before I do that I wanted to post this series of video documentaries on religion that I found on Youtube.
The man who put these next ten videos together makes some very good points. I think a lot of what he says has merit. I do not agree with everything he says, but I do think the points he raises are in fact valid and based on sound research. Of course there will be scholars that disagree as well. This is okay.
Part of studying and learning about ourselves is to learn as much as possible even when we do not want to and when we may think there is no possibility of there being another answer other than the ones people popularly cling to. Do not write off what he says too quickly but rather try to be open to the possibility of yet another explanation. Something I find to be of particular interest is the assertion made by our host of these videos that the crucifixion never happened. And I really mean that, it is interesting.

More discussion about the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and the cast of the column of Trajan.

This is very good information about some of the ideas of where many of the origins of religion emerge from Egyptian religions. There are some references to sex and the sacred nature of sex, but this information is not presented in an inappropriate manner.

This is also interesting and it was not until I watched this video in particular that I realized I really don't think about much of the drug use within the formation and practice of religion in the history of man. Eventually I will do some research and create a blog for it. In the meantime, this video is pretty good. I think the cut-aways to the recordings of shows that try to inform people about the history of religion and then the host's comments on such are quite helpful. Really pay attention to what he says about the religion of Julius Ceasar.

Sacred sex and the ideas that there was/is/are great power to be found within the energy of reproduction and pleasure and the purposes/uses of such are very interesting. It is a lot more to study though and you really gotta be careful of how you type it into the Youtube search or you get some really, really bad stuff that pops up on your computer screen. So, I would recommend that if you wish to learn more about this particular subject you go to a bookstore like Borders or BarnesnNoble where you can find the info you are looking for without accidentally downloading programs detrimental to your computer.

The possibilities of the origins of many facets of religion, Abrahamic religions in particular, is something that far more people ought to look into with greater patience and care. It does not mean that you have to change everything that you believe, but to at least be aware of and open to ALL the information out there, and not just the information that you want to hear simply because it backs up what you believe really is an important thing to do.

I can only imagine how many hard-line Christians would rather see the world come to an end than hear what this man has to say about the formation of religion into what we all know it to be today. I hope at least some Christians have the patience and foresight to watch these videos. Like I said before, they do not have to change what they believe, but it would be great if these films can at least help a little bit in getting the stubborn minds of Christianity in realizing there are so very many ways to think and live and believe and contribute to mankind...and just because a person does not choose Christianity does not make that person bad or terrible. Christians really need to move away from such aberrant thinking.

Here a very good question is raised: Where is the list of all the people within history that other people thought of or worshiped as gods?

Really and truly think about the implications of what this man has to say on religion and how modern day individuals and groups have come to understand and know and think how religion was developed by man.

There is an amazing amount of information here and I found it necessary to watch these films several times over in order to ensure I was hitting the major points of what this guy was saying. i want to be sure the notes that I take will aid me in my own research. I hope at least some of the people watching this will do research. I think it is a terrible travesty to take the reigns that are attached to the horse of religion only to allow that horse to run away with you and end up serving you no postitive purpose whatsoever.

God Speaks to Me : Daily News Blog

Hope and Expectation
By: God the Demanding

When was the last time you hoped for something? Did you hope to get something good in the mail? Did you hope to get a good grade on a difficult test? Did you hope that a beautiful girl or handsome guy would give you their unrequited attention? Have you ever expected any of these things instead of just hoping for them? What was the difference between your just hoping for something and your expectation of that same something?

Hope can be an excellent thing, especially when it comes to certain people in certain circumstances. Hope can help people survive, true. Perhaps a good example of this is such: A man in a boat is trapped in a terrible storm. His boat is destroyed and he washes up on a deserted island. On the island he finds adequate food and water, and even builds himself a shelter. He builds fires and lights them in an effort to signal his position. After a while he becomes distraught, despairing that he will ever be found. In his worry and despair he begins to believe that his desired end result (being rescued) is out of his hands. "Perhaps," he thinks, "my fate is to die out here...alone. All I can do is hope that such a thing is not my fate."

In this case the marooned man utilizes his hope to help him to survive. That is the good part. The bad part is that he is just 'surviving' and not 'living' as he has already committed himself to the belief that his fate is out of his own hands. He has effectively convinced himself he has zero control and is completely powerless as to his fate.

Expectation, on the other hand, is in reality the polar opposite of Hope. This is because those who walk into every situation free of the worry of the tendrils of fear, condemnation, and rejection strangling their desires walk a truer path. Expectation, properly seeded and nurtured, can bring a sense of duty within the individual that naturally steers that person toward the proper desire of perfection. This perfection is not of the performance of tasks without mistake, but rather is the ability and action to maintain persistent efforts, to keep 'getting up' after failure in order to ensure that the realization of the Individual's expectations come to fruition.

Let's take the same man marooned on the island and replace his Hope of rescue with the Expectation of rescue. What is the difference? Now this man can truly live. Why? Because he expects himself to live...without question. He does not tell himself that his fate of living or dying, being rescued or left alone, is beyond his control, out of his power. This man will 'live' whether or not he is rescued in the literal sense.

Sometimes people forget there are clear distinctions between Hope and Expectation. Hope sometimes carries with it a pervasive feeling of a lack of control over an individual, a situation, or the Self. It can be a sly, sneaky emotion at times, usually the most inopportune times. While on the outside Hope may be portrayed and expressed as divine and spiritual in origin, on the inside the individual can sometimes be found wallowing in the despair born of feelings of inadequacy and powerlessness.

Of course there are differences in the applications of Hope and Expectation. Yet overall, anyone who truly desires to live fully must make a choice to take control of themselves and their life...never leaving their goals to the powerless maybe, might be, could be, or chance of plain, flat Hope. Expect good things, circumstances, people, and quality of life.

People who truly want to live, who truly expect the manifestations of their life goals must first EXPECT the most of themselves...

...After all, how can anyone draw great things and people into their lives unless they first EXPECT such of themselves?

God Speaks to Me V: Daily News Blog

These are the messages as relayed to me by the various personalities of God.

Getting What They Deserve
By: God the Diabolical

I am sure many of you have seen or heard the newscasts about Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan being killed by an airstrike launched by counter terrorism forces in Yemen. Supposedly it was a joint CIA-U.S. Military operation. Never mind the question of what U.S. forces were doing in that area of the world, but it turns out that al-Awlaki was supposedly an American citizen. Yes. An American citizen.

Now, there are apparently many individuals who are very much up in arms about this particular American citizen being targeted and killed. Many people point out the fact that this person had rights to trial and all that horse-shit as so appointed by the United States Constitution.

Really? This guy who you say was a U.S. citizen was encouraging others to KILL U.S. citizens...or don't you listen to what this ding-dong was up to in his spare time? Some people insist that this man should have been put on trial, that evidence of his misdeeds should have been gathered and presented to the court system.

What were these people going to use as proof of this idiot's extremism? Were they going to wait until they had video footage of him making bombs and planting them? Did they want to wait until they had another list of innocent people killed by psychotic religious extremists who truly think they are part of something great and good and part of God?

Whether or not the nut-hatch al-Awlaki was born in New Mexico, making him a U.S. citizen is not an issue here, oh people of earth. This guy did not behave as a citizen. Don't you get it? He gave two shits and a donkey squirt for any of the standards that individuals who uphold the U.S. Constitution stand for. His actions and encouragements to others to kill Americans and destroy Americans were in themselves very loud statements that he wanted nothing to do with the United States of America, its people, its Constitution, its laws, or its citizenship.

Mr. al-Awlaki planted particular seeds in his garden, and guess what? The little religiously deluded prick reaped EXACTLY WHAT HE SOWED! And you know what? The same thing will happen to all his little pals who try the same damn thing. You cannot claim association and citizenship and benefits of the laws with a country that you have openly declared war on, you assholes. Common goddamn sense...get some.

People like al-Awlaki are exactly why religion has absolutely zero place in politics. Bunch of crap, it is. What the hell is wrong with you humans? Stop killing each other over make-believe deities and stories of martyrdom and what you might win if you go about killing people who believe differently than you.

And now I move onto comments of other bits of news...

China, nice rocket you got there, eh? Care to tell everyone in the world why you decided to play 'America the Beautiful' on your national television when showing your citizens what the rocket would be doing in space? Was the rocket made with American parts and you were simply offering your thanks through song? Well, at least now no one can call you ungrateful.

Ahhh, Bank of America. Going to load up another fee on your already fee loaded patrons? Tell you what, enjoy it while you can, because sooner or later your patrons will get a clue, pull out all their monies and investments, and go to other banks. Maybe even the Bank of Japan...hah!

Did you hear about the grandfather who survived, like, six days in a 200 foot ravine after being in a car wreck, living off of leaves, bugs, and creek water? Amazing! That guy is totally hardcore! My divine hat is off to you! I hope your recovery is swift and complete.

Dude, PETA, shut the fu*k up and leave the meat eaters of the world alone. You are really up in arms about this so-called 'sexy chicken' advertisement? Just for that I am going to eat a fired chicken sandwich AND a hamburger for lunch.

So, a bear in British Columbia walks into a pizza restaurant and...eats a pizza. Where is PETA on this one? Your asses know that pizza can't possibly be good for a bear, right?

Syria...let's get serious, okay? You want to know why the U.S. has such a problem with your dumb ass? Because you keep promoting dumb shit and even dumber people, that is why. Stop doing the stupid crap that you do and there won't be such a problem. By the way, pissing off Hilary Clinton is seriously the WRONG thing to do. Take it from the mouth of the divine, dude, she will destroy your ass and you will only have yourself to blame for it.

Ah, Mr. Obungle! Surely you did not think I would close this divine comment section without making a comment on you, did you? So, suffering a little thinness in the 'ole pocket money, eh? Do you really think that holding a dinner where each plate is ten thousand dollars or more is going to help you? Considering the lowliness of your approval rating, do you think many people want to pay thousands of dollars to attend a dinner just to hear you jibber-jabber on more useless crap that you will either never do, or that will never make any amount of measurable difference? Like one of my divine compatriots has previously stated...all of us divine beings are crossing our fingers that you do not get re-elected. Humm, I wish to hell Hilary was running for office.

The Sixteenth Book of The Tenement Gospel (the REAL Holy Bible)

The Tenement Gospel
(the REAL version of the original translation of the Holy Bible)

The Book of II Tim-Tim
(the sixteenth book of The Tenement Gospel)

Chapter 1

1 Yo, this be another letter to ya’ll who be thinkin’ that ya’ll way of worship be the only way to worship all that be God in this great, grand, and glorious universe.
2 Hell, I be knowin’ little, teeny children who be lisnin’ and be behavin’ better than ya’ll be lisnin’ an’ behavin’. Shee-it.
3 I be tellin’ ya’ll what, I be thankin’ God everyday an’ every night that I ain’t be caught up in the twisted hierarchy of religion an’ shit like ya’ll be.
4 An’ believe me, havin’ to be repeatin’ myself yet again to ya’ll be bringin’ tears to my eyes, ‘cause it sho’ do be makin’ me crazy to be repeatin’ myself when they ain’t no need to be doin’ so if ya’ll asses only be lisnin’ in the first place. Shee-it.
5 Now I be wantin’ to lay my hands on the muthas who be fannin’ the flames of religious differences, layin’ my hands on they throats an’ squeezin’ until they be shuttin’ the fuck up with they crazy talk of they God bein’ better than somebody else’s. Shee-it.
6 For God don’t be wantin’ ya’ll to be havin’ spirits of cowards that be pickin’ on people who be believin’ different than you,
7 ‘Cause bein’ like that ain’t no different than bein’ like the assholes who be actin’ like fools ‘cause they ain’t be sober with alterin’ chemicals and alcoholic drinks coursin’ through they brains.
8 Ya’ll be gettin’ this shit straight, ‘aight? Ya’ll don’t be needin’ to be ashamed of varyin’ faiths in God and everythin’ that be God, you dig? ‘Cause when you be feelin’ shame for these things ya’ll be sufferin’ evils ya’ll don’t need to be sufferin’.
9 ‘Cause each callin’ of faith in each person be a holy call for there be many, many faiths that be makin’ up all that God be, you dig?
10 Once you be allowin’ the truth that all faiths and all paths lead to God to be manifestin’ in ya’lls hearts all ya’ll will be findin’ that all stuntin’ and stoppin’ forms of death be nullified in what be incorruptible light of truth in love and love in truth.
11 An’ it be for this that I be a petitioner of ya’lls ears, a herald of what the truth of truths be, an’ currently a teacher to a buncha’ students who apparently don’t be wantin’ to be lisnin’ to they teacher, goddamnnit.
12 An’ here I be sufferin’ ‘cause I be findin’ that I be repeatedly required to be draggin’ my ass all the way out to where ya’ll be in the friggin’ boondocks of the boondocks…all to be remindin’ yo’ asses to calm the hell down. Shee-it.
13 It be comin’ to my attentions that ya’ll be sayin’ that words that be in healthy patterns be done so in faith an’ love,
14 But I be tellin’ ya’ll that be a load of shit, ‘cause healthy words put into pretty little patterns be meanin’ dick when the patterns of ya’lls faith don’t be healthy. Shee-it.
15 An’ cause you ain’t be guardin’ the good deposits of what be consistin’ of faith and love that all that be makin’ up God be puttin’ in ya’lls hearts,
16 Ya’lls religious ego be writin’ alls kinds of crazy ass checks ya’lls Gospel of Disaster cain’t be cashin’ no way an’ no how.

Fantasy in the Bible: Exodus

The book of Exodus in the Holy Bible chronicles the suffering of the Children of Israel at the hands of Pharaoh, who eventually did let the Children of Israel go. Of course, maybe the Pharaoh would have let the Children of Israel go a whole hell of a lot sooner if God had not hardened his (Pharaoh's) heart so many dag-gone times: Exodus 4:21; Exodus 7:14, 22; Exodus 8:15, 19, 32; Exodus 9:7, 12, 34; Exodus 10:1, 20, 27; Exodus 11:10. That is a lot, isn't it? So, did God really want to let His people go or did He just want to dish out some divine justice onto Pharaoh...again and again and again by purposely making Pharaoh's heart hard? If you need a copy of the book of Exodus: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+1&version=NIV  and: http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/ancient/exodus-rsv.asp  and: http://www.readbookonline.net/read/989/11148/

And of course there are all the plagues brought upon the Egyptians by God, to include the worst plague of killing all the firstborn in the land of Egypt: Exodus 12:29.

It is the ultimate story of deliverance...or is it? There is interesting historical evidence that definitively points to the solid mythology of the Exodus story and lends absolutely ZERO TRUTH to the story of Moses leading the Children of Israel out from the bondage of the Egyptians. There is no truth in the story of Exodus. Just like its predecessor, Genesis, Exodus is a fairytale.

Nature and Religion: Part IV

Such is the true condition of Christianity/Religion: Christianity/Religion is a school of belief (yes, a school of belief and NOT a school of thought) that is built on the lack of knowledge and lack of understanding of man. It does not matter if the lack of knowledge/understanding is in the nature of this planet and the universe, or in the physical and emotional nature of man, or in those things man considers to be supernatural, or in the positive and negative situations that occur every moment in every facet of life, or in the amazing things that are all around us (to include ourselves).

Consider that the very term 'lack' is indicative of an absence of something. The lack of the ability of an atheist to explain everything in the universe is repeatedly utilized by Christianity/Religion to prove God/Creator. Now, understand that to prove God/Creator fact must be presented; substance must be present. In fact (no pun intended), in order to prove anything as truth a fact must be presented. I know I keep saying this over and over, but it is essential that you understand.

A deficit cannot be used to bolster proof of another deficit. Look at it this way: A hole in the ground cannot be filled with another hole in the ground.

Would you agree that understanding is a consequence of the acknowledgement of proof and evidence? For example, man once believed that what made a harvest a good harvest was the blessings of gods of harvest. Man now understands that honey bees, bats, moths, and a wide variety of creatures in nature are responsible for the pollination/cross-pollination that is essential to the good harvest of many crops.

How does man know this? Man knows this because he has watched and studied and witnessed and recorded these creatures and how they help to pollinate. By acknowledging the facts, the truth, the proof man now understands that the harvest gods have crappy-doo to do with a good harvest.

Say for the sake of argument that two ancient farmers are celebrating a good harvest. One farmer offers a sacrifice of thanks to the harvest gods, and the other farmer does not.

"Why haven't you made a sacrifice of thanks to the harvest gods?" asks the one farmer.
"Because I do not believe that the harvest gods exist, much less that they have anything to do with this good harvest," answers the other farmer.
"Then what or who is responsible for the good harvest?"
"I do not know."
"See! You cannot explain it, can you? You have no other explanation! It is because of the harvest gods. You know it but simply do not wish to admit such."

How stupid is this argument? Pretty stupid. This is the same argument used by Christianity:

Believer: "God created everything."
Atheist: "That is not true."
Believer: "Oh, yeah? Where did that tree come from?"
Atheist: "From a seed in the ground."
Believer: ""Where did the first trees on earth come from? How were they formed? Who made them?"
Atheist: "I do not know."
Believer: "See! You cannot explain it, can you? You have no other explanation than God put the first trees here on earth. You know this! You just will not admit to this."

This is an argument that cannot hold water. Here is why:
1) A belief needs fact in order to be justifiably be labeled as truth.
2) Truth is substance.
3) Some people believe that God/Creator is the reason for everything.
4) Atheists do not believe God/Creator is responsible for anything.
5) To prove God exists evidence, fact must be presented.
6) Believers do not have proof God/Creator exists. Therefore, God/Creator lacks fact/substance and is not true.
7) The atheist does not know the reason for existence/First Cause, and the inability to explain such is indicative of a lack of substance.
8) Believers insist that the atheist's inability to answer or explain everything/First Cause is evidence or proof that God/Creator exists. According to Christianity/Religion, the atheist's lacking of an explanation provides the proof Christianity needs.
9) Lacking infers deficit. Proof infers a positive. Therefore, positive proof must be used to remove any element of lacking in order to participate in truth and fact.
10) Christians/Religion cannot prove God. Therefore, God is lacking and a deficit.
11) When Christians/Believers try to use the atheist's lacking as proof of the truth of God it is the same thing as trying to use a 'nothing' to prove that another 'nothing' actually IS something.
12) Lacking cannot be used to validate (remove) lacking. Deficit cannot be used to remove deficit.
13) Therefore, the Christian/Religious attempt to use the atheist's lacking to prove God/Creator, or to fill what Christians themselves lack makes no goddamn sense whatsoever.
14) Debt is not lowered with more debt. Hate does not diminish with more hate. Ignorance does not transform ignorance.

You cannot fill a hole in the ground with another hole in the ground.
